Scoring Information

The Praxis Core Writing exam uses a scaled scoring system. Generally, you must obtain a minimum scaled score of 162 to pass, though passing requirements vary by state.

Unofficial scores for the selected-response section are available immediately after completing the exam at most testing centers.
Official score reports, including essay scores, are typically available within 2–3 weeks.

The examination fee is $90 for this individual test. To register, create an account with the Educational Testing Service (ETS) and select your preferred test format (remote or at a testing center), location, and date.
