School Superintendent Assessment (6991) Exam Registration
To register, you must create an SLS account, which allows you to sign up for the assessments required for education-related employment opportunities. The registration fee for the exam is $350.
The exam can be taken at home, offering maximum flexibility. If you choose the at-home option, you may schedule your test on any day of the week.
Alternatively, the exam is available at authorized testing centers, including universities and other approved locations. The SLS website provides a complete list of testing sites, available dates, testing times, and important details related to the SSA. The exam code for the SSA is 6991.
Canceling Your Registration
If you are unable to take the exam on your scheduled date, you may cancel your registration as long as the cancellation is completed at least three days before your test date.
The three-day window does not include the exam day itself. For example, if your exam is scheduled for a Friday, you must cancel by Tuesday at 11:59 p.m.
Cancellations made within the allowed timeframe may be eligible for a partial refund of the exam fee.
Failure to appear for your scheduled test session will result in no refund.
