- Launch the ETS Online Test application
- Ensure no one enters your testing space during the exam
Scoring Information
- One point is awarded for each correct answer
- No penalties for incorrect or skipped questions
- Your raw score is converted to a scaled score ranging from 20 to approximately 80
You will receive:
- An unofficial score immediately after testing
- An official score report the next day in your CLEP account
Passing Score
There is no universal passing score. Each college sets its own credit-granting policy.
The American Council on Education commonly recommends a scaled score of 50, but you should always verify requirements with your institution.
