- Begin the exam once approved by the proctor
No one may enter your testing area during the exam.
Scoring Information
- One point is awarded for each correct answer
- No penalty for incorrect or skipped questions
- Raw scores are converted to a scaled score ranging from approximately 20 to 80
You will receive:
- An unofficial score immediately after testing
- An official score report the next day in your CLEP account
Passing Score
There is no universal passing score. Each college sets its own CLEP credit policy. A scaled score of 50 or higher is commonly recommended.
