The College Board administers the College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP®), offering affordable exams that help students receive college credits for knowledge they already possess. The CLEP Natural Sciences exam covers high-school-level biological and physical sciences and can help you skip introductory science courses in college.
What is the CLEP Natural Sciences Test?
CLEP exams are taken by students each year to earn college credit for knowledge gained through previous coursework, on-the-job training, independent study, or life experience.
By taking and passing the CLEP Natural Sciences exam, you may be able to bypass certain introductory science classes in college. This can:
- Allow you to earn multiple college credits
- Save you money (the exam costs significantly less than a semester course)
- Help you graduate on time — or even ahead of schedule
- Add flexibility to your degree program
Before registering, you should confirm with your college or university that they accept CLEP Natural Sciences scores.
