Prepare for your Praxis ParaPro Assessment (1755) with our comprehensive practice test questions, study tips, and resources designed to help you succeed. At Prepsaret, we offer free practice tests, study guides, and flashcards to help you build confidence and pass the test on test day.
Praxis ParaPro Assessment Exam Test Format and Structure
The exam includes 90 selected-response (multiple-choice) questions covering three core subject areas: reading, mathematics, and writing. In each section, about two-thirds of the questions assess foundational skills and content knowledge, while the remaining one-third evaluate your ability to apply those skills in practical, classroom-based situations.
Additionally, the test may include a small number of unscored questions that are used for research and test development purposes and do not affect your final score.
Basic Test Information
- Test Code: 1755
- Number of Questions: 90 selected-response questions
- Time Limit: 2.5 hours
- Test Format: Computer-delivered
- Question Types: Multiple-choice questions
Scoring Information
Your ParaPro Assessment score is determined using a scaled scoring system. Each correct answer earns one raw point, and your total raw score is then converted into a scaled score ranging from 420 to 480.
Keep in mind that minimum passing scores vary by state, so the score required to pass depends on where you take the exam.
If you take the test at home or at a Prometric testing center, your unofficial score is emailed to you within one hour of completing the exam. If you test at a participating school district, institution, or education service center, your unofficial score appears onscreen, and you have the option to print it immediately.

Your official score report is sent by mail to you and any designated score recipients two to three weeks after your test date. Once issued, your score remains valid for ten years.

The registration process varies slightly depending on whether you choose to test in person or remotely.
