CLEP® College Algebra Practice Test

Prepare for your CLEP® College Algebra exam with our comprehensive practice test questions, study resources, and expert prep tips designed to help you earn college credit faster. At Prepsaret, we provide free practice tests, study guides, and flashcards to help you pass with confidence.

The College Board administers the College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP®), which offers affordable exams that allow students to earn college credit for knowledge they already have. The CLEP College Algebra exam assesses your understanding of core algebra concepts, including linear and quadratic equations, inequalities, functions, and graphs.

What is the CLEP® College Algebra Exam?

The CLEP College Algebra exam allows you to earn college credit without taking a full semester course. If you’ve learned algebra through previous coursework, independent study, work experience, or life experience, you can take this single exam and potentially receive the same credit as completing a one-semester college algebra class.

By passing the CLEP College Algebra exam, you may:

  • Earn three or more college credits
  • Save money compared to paying for a semester-long course
  • Graduate on time or even ahead of schedule
  • Add flexibility to your degree program
  • Avoid hours of lectures and homework

Before registering, check with your college to confirm they accept CLEP College Algebra credit.

Passing Score

There is no universal passing score for CLEP exams. Each college sets its own minimum score requirement.

Testimonials

What do our clients say?
prepsaret review 473

I hadn’t taken algebra in years, so I was nervous about jumping straight into the CLEP exam. The free practice test showed me exactly what I needed to review. I passed with a 58 and earned my credits without taking the full course.

Amanda L

prepsaret review 474

The functions section was my biggest challenge. Prepsaret broke down domain, range, transformations, and inverse functions in a way that finally made sense. I felt fully prepared on test day.

Brianna T

prepsaret review 475

I appreciated that the practice test included both straightforward problems and deeper conceptual questions — just like the real exam. It helped me prepare for every type of question.
