In-Person Testing
- Arrive early with your printed ticket and photo ID

Remote Testing
- Log in 15–30 minutes before your scheduled time
- Install the Proctortrack application
- Complete identity verification and room scan
- Open the ETS Online Test application to begin
No one may enter your testing space during the exam.
Scoring Information
- One point is awarded for each correct answer
- No penalty for incorrect or skipped questions
- Your total correct answers form your raw score
- Raw scores are converted to a scaled score ranging from approximately 20 to 80
You will receive:
- An unofficial score immediately after completing the exam
- An official score report available the next day in your CLEP account
Passing Score
There is no universal passing score. Each institution sets its own score requirements, so check with your college before testing.
