Just days earlier, the <\/span>Wall Street Journal<\/span><\/i> revealed that Oracle will provide a steep 75% discount on its license-based software to federal institutions, along with major savings on its cloud products until the end of November.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Financial Times<\/span><\/i> noted that Google\u2019s offer is expected to be on par with Oracle\u2019s, based on comments from a high-ranking official at the <\/span>General Services Administration (GSA).\u00a0<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

The same official indicated that Amazon Web Services and Microsoft\u2019s Azure are also likely to introduce similar price reductions shortly.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Every single of those companies is totally bought in, they understand the mission,” the official told the <\/span>Financial Times<\/span><\/i>. “We will get there with all four players.”<\/span><\/p>\n
