On June 16, 2025, Reddit unveiled two new artificial intelligence-powered features designed to help brands better engage with users on its platform. As competition in the digital advertising space intensifies, these tools are part of Reddit’s strategy to attract advertisers by leveraging user-generated content and insights.

Reddit Insights

The first feature, Reddit Insights, offers real-time analytics that allows marketers to monitor platform trends and test campaign ideas more effectively. This tool is particularly aimed at helping brands fine-tune their advertising strategies based on ongoing conversations among Reddit users.

With a focus on actionable data, Reddit Insights provides a competitive edge in a marketplace where advertising budgets are under increased scrutiny due to economic uncertainties.

Conversation Summary Add-ons

The second feature, Conversation Summary Add-ons, enables brands to include positive comments from users directly beneath their ads. This addition allows companies to showcase authentic user opinions, creating a more relatable and engaging advertisement.

By highlighting user feedback, Reddit aims to bridge the gap between brand messaging and user sentiment, helping advertisers build trust with their target audiences.

These new features come at a time when Reddit is facing challenges in the broader advertising landscape. According to WPP Media, global ad revenue growth has been revised down to 6% from an earlier projection of 7.7%, influenced by economic factors and shifting U.S. trade policies. Despite these hurdles, Reddit’s CEO, Steve Huffman, remains optimistic.

Last month, the platform forecasted a second-quarter revenue that surpassed Wall Street expectations, although traffic from Google search remains a concern for the company.

Amid these industry-wide challenges, platforms like Reddit, Snap, and Pinterest are doubling down on AI-driven ad targeting as part of a broader effort to capture marketer interest.

These tools enable more personalized ad experiences, helping brands engage users in a highly competitive market.
